The City of Dubai is divided by the Creek.
You can get a taxi across one of the bridges or under the tunnel,
but far more fun, and cheaper, is a ride on an "abra".
You can even hire one for an hour for about £10
It's best around sunset
And then you see the creekside buildings lit up.
Our hotel was near the Clock Tower roundabout.
But if you are feeling flush, you could go 10 km along the beach to
The Jumeira Beach Hotel
And if you are feeling extremely rich you could stay at
The Burj Al Arab
Only a few hundred pounds per night!
There is a lot of incredible architecture around. The Dubai Twin Towers.
And in the evening you can enjoy an electric palm tree!
Or smoke a Sheesha!
Surprisingly enjoyable, even for non-smokers like us!!
